As promised, let's talk about what happens when the body is storing oxalates.
We already know what happens as they make their way through the body, tearing things up as they go... NOW what happens when they overload the body's elimination mechanisms.
This is only the highlight reel, and not an extensive and exhaustive list. Remember, your entire body is made up of minerals.
THYROID - immune system sees the oxalates and the organisms that take up residence due to the density of the organ. Mounts an attack. This would be a reason for an auto-immune diagnosis. The body doesn't JUST attack itself. There IS a reason.
EYES - photoreceptors affected and oxalates stored in eyes, causing, among other things, Photosensitivity. The oxalates refract sunlight, altering the reception of the broad-spectrum light needed for health. This is why you would need sunglasses. The light hitting those oxalates causes them to vibrate. It's not pleasant.
JOINTS - as mentioned, oxalates get caught up in small spaces and joints causing, among other things, arthritis. This is commonly seen in your pets, as well. The body's attempt to break these down is what "medicine" likes to call Gout.
CELLS - your cells are vibrational and not only does oxalic acid bind to those minerals, but the cells will also store damaging oxalates, causing cellular dysfunction, and cell death.
BONES- mineral dense and a prevalent storage place for oxalates, especially since the body uses calcium to buffer the destructive crystals. Oxalates impair bone marrow and cause weakening of bone structures.
LIVER/GALLBLADDER/KIDNEYS - think of the stones in these organs as similar to a pearl. An ugly destructive pearl. The body coats the oxalate in calcium to buffer the destructiveness. You will see the core oxalate in cross sections or advanced imagery. Look up a Staghorn stone. It's quite fascinating and quite profoundly painful.
AND THE PINEAL GLAND - everyone wants to talk about the calcification of the Pineal Gland. Your "Third Eye", and the receiver of vibration. All the plant-based and spiritual communities shouting about fluoride in your toothpaste and fluoride in the water. Crickets when it comes to oxalic acid/oxalates/raphides. After all, the body DOES use calcium to buffer these, and the resulting calcification is "the calcification of the Pineal gland"... but that doesn't fit their dietary narrative, does it?
Nope. I was them, and then I figured it out.
In summary, the heart, organs, glands, elimination systems, reproductive system, breasts and every other essential part of your body is affected by oxalates, as well.
Something to consider.... cooking does not eliminate oxalates and often concentrates them. Reducing moisture increases the content ratio.
Acid is your body's remedy for this.
However, if you aren't producing enough acid, then you will become a storehouse of these destructive crystals.
So, why the push for an alkaline diet?
Tomorrow....
Until then, if you haven't removed this from your diet, consider checking out Sally K Norton. She has a book out. I haven't read it, but she WAS my "HOLLY POOP" moment, 8years ago.
One last thing to ponder.
"They" say that oxalates can be produced "endogenously".
That is incorrectly stated.
The body does not make oxalates; the consumption of oxalic acid makes oxalates.
THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT DISTINCTION.
Your body does not make toxic substances; you simply ingest/inhale/absorb them. The body does what it can to eliminate them.
So... how much poison is too much poison.
Enjoy.
