Oxalate dumping.
Another ambiguous phrase that does not clearly define the level of intense, but necessary destruction that takes place within the body when it begins to break down and remove these crystalline structures.
The oxalate cycle begins innocently enough with the consumption of a substance that is high in oxalic acid/oxalates/raphides.
Considering the marketing around these high oxalate compounds, you might think there was a reason that these are promoted as "superfoods"; ex, agave, cacao, green tea... or maybe you haven't yet considered that aspect.
Livestock are also subjected to this unfortunate situation, as feed and pastures CAN be high in oxalate containing substances, ex. soy, clover, etc.
When the levels of any stored toxic compound begin to drop, the body begins to eliminate it.
As mentioned, the acid/mineral bond is broken down by another acid. This is why acid is used as a digestive aid, cleaning agent, and "health elixir". Yet the alkaline/acid myth refuses to be dispelled. Illogical, and insidious.
As the body produces acid, an example being uric acid, to break down oxalates stored in the body, this causes multiple painful scenarios.
Gout.
Passing "stones".
Kidney damage.
The actual crystals are removed via the elimination organs.
The colon is the path of least resistance; however, the skin is the largest.
If the colon is congested with undigestible matter and organisms, the oxlates/raphides must take another course. Kidneys typically.
This is called "oxalate dumping"... and it is NO JOKE.
Everyone is at a different level when it comes to the amount of toxins in their body, and the ability of their elimination organs to manage and eliminate those toxins. Being on a whole food plant-based diet DOES NOT improve the likelihood of dealing with these substances, as most foods promoted as "healthy" are, in fact, not. That goes back to the beginning of the "Simple Truths" series.
Back to dumping. As the levels of any substance falls, the discomfort of the detoxing/dumping leads the consumer to ingest/inhale/absorb the toxic substance again, in order to "feel" better. THIS is where you begin the cycle.
Should you NOT repeat the cycle, the dumping begins.
Properly nourishing the body will increase its ability to deal with pathogens and poisons, both the ones being taken in, and the stored. This is healing, and it is necessary.
"It takes energy to heal".
If you haven't been through an oxalate dumping, it is strongly recommended that you go slow. In my strongest recommendation, I can say... DO NOT GO COLD TURKEY. I did, and I would not wish it on anyone.
Popping crystals out of your eyes, skin, and in your waste is common, fascinating and painful.
Oxalic acid and oxalates are destructive.
The good news is that the information is out there.
Stop the poison and heal.
