Day 28

Day 28
Almost to the end of oxalates... woohoo!
Today is one that is near and dear to my heart, and probably yours too. It's hopefully going to enlighten you. Consider being kind to yourself once it hits home. We didn't know, what we didn't know.
As the meme mentions; digestive, urinary and reproductive systems are greatly affected by oxalates. Whether it's the storage of them, or the body's attempts to remove them.
I'm not going to go into detail on each one. I will however, touch on what I will call "potty training".
Whether you are potty training your child, or your puppy, the basis is the same, right?
"Let me know when you need to go, and we will get you where you need to be".
So, what does this have to do with oxalates?
Everything.
The body's response to oxalates is to urgently and rapidly remove them, if it can. The younger the age, the better able the body is at removing things. The system has not been inundated with toxic compounds for years...so it reacts quicker. That is great. Until you are attempting to manage that reaction.
Whether it's your human baby or fur baby, just before attempting to redirect the waste to a desirable place, these baby's diet changes. They are often eating less milk, and more "solid foods".
Interestingly enough, the focus and push for introducing "plant foods" has increased substantially from generations ago. Meat was the natural logical next food for baby. NOW? Doesn't matter whether you are buying it in a jar or making it yourself in a blender and ice cube trays...the ingredients are the same. Plants and their defenses.
As previously mentioned, oxalates are destructive to the digestive system and urinary system, especially kidneys.
When you gotta go, you gotta go!!
This is often the reason for "mishaps" with kids and pets (and adults).
So, consider this.
When the plants are removed, and the subject is fed meat, the system isn't attempting to eliminate the destructive substance, and there is "control".
I have personally seen this in tons of kids, and tons of pets. Even older pets (and adults) that were resigned to diapers. My dog was one of them. I've seen 9-month-old puppies who couldn't go a day without peeing on the floor when they get excited. Removed the plants. Fed them meat, and 'poof'. Healed.
I've seen adults who have recovered their continence. No more diapers. No more UTIs. No more painful urination or getting up 4 times a night. Healed.
I know that it seems like oxalates are everywhere and people say to me "Well, WTF, what is there to eat?".
I get that, however, the more you know, the more you are able to make informed choices.
That is all each of us really wants, at the end of the day, right?
We DO have a choice.
What you do with that information will determine your reality.
Enjoy your meat.
